FGS classrooms are focused, energetic and purposeful. Students are encouraged to take their studies seriously, participate actively and develop the confidence to demonstrate what they have learned.

Teaching methods are selected according to the subject and the needs of the lesson. In subjects such as Mathematics, clear teacher-led instruction helps students understand methods and build strong foundations. In English and other discussion-based subjects, students are given greater opportunities to express ideas, ask questions and contribute to the classroom.

We also use technology, such as Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality, to help students better grasp different concepts. This allows children to learn how tech can help solve real-world problems. For example, we’ve used Google Earth to identify villages around the River Ravi riverbed and develop emergency plans in case of flooding.

The aim is not to follow one teaching style for every lesson. It is to find the right balance between clear instruction and active student participation. Teachers are expected to do more than complete the curriculum: they work to involve students, recognise where support is needed and help every child make meaningful progress.
