Farooqi Grammar School grew from a strong founding vision into a trusted educational institution shaped by dedicated teachers, supportive families, and generations of students.
From the beginning, the school's purpose has been broader than academic success alone. FGS was established to provide families with academic excellence at accessible fees, and without lowering expectations for teaching, discipline or student achievement.
That commitment has remained central to our school's identity. For nearly five decades, FGS students have achieved consistent success in the Lahore Board Matriculation Examinations. Meanwhile, we've continued to provide strong educational value to the communities we serve.

Farooqi Grammar School was founded in 1978 by Sir Asim Farooqi and Madam Zahida Asim Farooqi. The school's story began in a single room in Karim Park, Ravi Road, with the aim of making purposeful education accessible to more families.
Those principles still echo in the FGS classrooms today. As the school has grown to multiple campuses, its leadership remains closely involved in school life, supporting teachers, listening to parents, and continuing to improve how students learn.
The methods of delivering education are constantly evolving. Yet, our purpose remains the same: to provide an education that combines academic ambition with responsibility, character, and genuine care for our students.
Our Approach to Technology in Education
Our history provided us with a strong foundation. But just as we're about developing the future leaders and innovators for our communities, so are our schools always learning, adapting and improving.
Today, technology supports a growing range of academic and administrative work at FGS. This includes teacher development, curriculum planning, student assessment and communication with parents.
